Dear Conference Participants:

It is a pleasure that the following events/activities (excursions) will take place on the margin of our Petra International Conference The events will include visiting some wonderful historical and geographical sites of Jordan. Here is a schedule of these activities: 		 

 

1 . PETRA The trip will start on the evening of June 19th, where all the participants will be transported from Irbid to Wadi Mosa, the trip takes about 4 to 5 hours.  Hotel reservations are made prior to that night, with full accommodation. Next morning, the trip to the Treasury and the Sig will start early around 7-8 am.
More info will be given upon arrival.

during  which we will discover the ethereal beauty of Petra (the spectacular 'rose-red' city of Petra) in style with light and sound PANORAMA and spend a wonderful night to soak up the incredible sense of history that envelops this masterpiece of a city, carved from stone. Participants desire to take this excursion  have to pay 200 U.S $ per person, this price include hotel accommodation, entrance fees, transportation and meals.

 

 
2 . DEAD SEA excursion including a dinner at AMMAN. Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth at 1300 feet (400 meters) below sea level; it is one of the most incredible places in the world, known for the Biblical story of the destruction of Sodom andAmora, which was turned into salt. This excursion will be on Thursday afternoon 18th of June, the last night of the conference. This excursion will be FREE of CHARGE. Dinner will be in the MovenPick

 
3 . WADI RUM . Participants will experience during a night in Wadi Rum, the former desert headquarters of Lawrence of Arabia. Here the solitude, the majestic desert scenery, and incredible night skies ensure a memorable evening of star gazing. Participants desire to take this excursion have to arrange with a travel agent. 4 . A tour to Amman. This mesmerizing tour offers a perfect introduction to the best sites of Amman including the historical places like the Roman Theatre and the Old City of Amman where you may pick up some incredible bargains at the Gold Market down town Amman! This is an experience not to be missed!Participants desire to take this excursion have to arrange with a travel agent. ( not included)

 
5 . A tour to Jreash and Ajloun. Visit Jerash on a very personalized tour to discover the grandeur of Rome! You will be truly amazed as you wonder though the temples, theaters, plazas, paths and colonnaded streets of this ancient Roman City. Participants will experience a step back in time that you'll never forget and have a wonderful Arabian dish for Participants desire to take this excursion have to arrange with a travel agent.
